Elevela develops superior body care products that are 100% organic and specially formulated for those who care as much about what goes on their skin as what goes into their body.

Sheri McMurray, Creator of Elevela Organics

What is your role at your company?

Creator / reluctant salesperson

What's the first thing you do when you get to the office?

My "office" is a makeshift table in a corner upstairs with about 35 bottles of essential oils. I sit down and think about who I am creating a scent for. I consider elements of their personality, what might be going on for them, the season, and what instinctively comes to me.

What do you feel are the most challenging aspects of your job?

("see "reluctant salesperson," above)

What do you like best about working with TribeAgency?

Shannon is brilliant at what she does. Her instincts are always right on, and I trust her implicitly to help steer our business in the right direction.

What do you feel are the benefits of working with TribeAgency over other Agencies?

I ALWAYS leave TribeAgency meetings with a sense of inspiration. They infuse us with positive energy. I honestly believe we would not have a product were it not for the shared motivation of the creative team.

Who is someone you have looked to as a role model?

My parents truly walk the walk of kindness, nonjudgment, and industriousness.

What is your most frustrating pet peeve?

People talking on cell phones obvlious to everyone around them. It makes public places more crowded by actually bringing more people into the space through conversation.

If you could live in any era in the past, when would you live?

Pre-cell phone, pre-computer, pre-television.

What is your favorite non-work activity?

Yoga

If you could be in any other career, what would it be, and why?

I would like to be a shaman or a mystic, someone literally wise beyond words.

What famous or historically significant person would you most like to meet?

I would not care to meet anyone famous--it would make me nervous as to what to say. I am much more interested in an un-famous person with an interesting story, because (mostly) they wouldn't have a shield of ego and caution.

If you were ruler of the world for a day, what would you do?

Make everyone turn off their cell phones, computers, and television and lower the hum of artificial energy for just a small piece of time.
