This Month's Studio Rumble: Best Vacation Spot

Tribester Opinions

Hands down the US and British Virgin Islands....great beaches, awesome consistent weather surrounded by unbelievable wild, air and sea life all in thier unspoiled natural habitats.
-- Tony Passero

Well I am not exactly a world traveler but one of the best places I have been hands down is St. John in the US Virgin Islands. It has all the usual Caribbean features, but it is not as developed and touristy as some other destinations which help to preserve it's natural beauty.
-- Joe Kaput

The nicest place I've ever been is the island of Morro de Sao Paulo in Brazil. The island is located an hours ferry ride from the city of Salvador on Brazil's eastern tip. Life on the island is very quiet, mostly due to the lack of automobiles. The entire island is surrounded by a coral reef and at low tide you can walk out 400 yards into the ocean. It's not the easiest place to get to, but I can't wait to get back.
-- Andy Owens

Well, I do not know about best place to vacation, as I have a hard time deciding. But hands-down the best place to grab a beer is Dublin. The pubs are historic, the libations are plentiful and the warm light in the beer gardens never gets past 10:30 am.
-- Mike Chorvat

My vote goes to Antigua, a small island located in the middle of the Leeward Islands in the Eastern Caribbean, north of the equator. In the summer the forecast is sunny and 85 degrees everyday, perfect beach and pool weather. I recommend staying at Curtain Bluff, one of the oldest resorts on the island, if you are looking for a relaxing stress-free vacation.
-- Carrie Pendergast

Overall, my favorite vacations have been in the Caribbean Islands; however, the best of the bunch has to be Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. It's a very small island that has more than it's fair share of unspoiled beauty and amazing beaches. The best place to stay on the island? Little Dix Bay, of course!
