"Proper electronics recycling is an important message that needs to be heard, we were excited to help Sims Recycling Solutions spread their message as a responsible electronics recycler and grow their customer base."
Sims Recycling Solutions is the division of Sims Group created specifically in response to the increasing social and political pressures to prevent undesirable and often hazardous materials being disposed of in an environmentally unsound manner. Post commercial products such as old computers, printers, and other electronic goods have very little residual value, and the safe processing of their content generally costs more than the material value that can be recovered. Some companies participate in illegal actions and ship this hazardous material to another country or simply dump it in a landfill. Sims Recycling Solutions hold a strict no landfill / no export policy and maintains audits on all downstream vendors, making them one of the most responsible electronics recycler in the world.
