As a franchise-based company grows and expands it becomes more and more difficult to produce quality marketing materials and operational solutions that are relevant to every location. Franchise owners expect a certain level of marketing support from the corporate office to promote the business and services, and depend on operational methodologies that allow them a certain level of independence to run their business and make it successful.
Opportunity
Young Rembrandts is an innovative program that focuses on teaching children to draw by using a structured step-by-step method. The corporate office looked to TribeAgency to provide a website that communicates the principals and purpose of Young Rembrandts teaching methodology to parents looking for supplemental art lessons geared toward children in preschool and elementary school, while also allowing each separate franchise location to have its own destination URL for localized marketing and class enrollment purposes.
Solutions
TribeAgency designed and developed an extensive website with multiple sections that fully support franchise owners as individual units. The site also acts as a recruiting tool for people who are interested in starting their own Young Rembrandts franchise and provides full information and success stories for parents to use as a reference tool while researching Young Rembrandts as an enhanced education opportunity for their children. It also includes individual portfolio pages of the artwork created by the children enrolled in the program nationwide
Each franchise has its own destination sub-site with unique URL and the ability to update it at will. The Tech Team created a secure admin tool that allows each individual franchisee to update class schedules, latest news, and upload local students' art for all to see. This tool not only encourages the children to continue developing their drawing skills, but also allows them to share their pictures with family members who live far away. The corporate website is easily accessible from each franchise webpage acting as an extension to each page.
To support the individual franchise locations the project specifications demanded a robust and dynamic publishing system with custom business rules. Each franchise location was given its own destination sub-site with unique URL. These individual sites where then coded to be fully database-driven, powered by TribeAgency's proprietary .NET based content management system (CMS) software suite, Webineer.
Webineer, TribeAgency's CMS Software Suite supports administrative tasks for each franchise location by providing a full suite of tools for managing content, class calendaring and enrollment along with news postings and custom student portfolio pages. With the implementation of the Webineer Software Suite, each franchise location's in-house staff can update, change and add content across their sub-site immediately and in real time without technical assistance.
Results
Young Rembrandts needed a way to communicate their drive and dedication to helping young children develop artistic skills with their unique learning programs on a national level to parents, while also providing the necessary marketing and promotion avenues and logistics to allow all of their individual franchises to run as a separate entity in their designated markets.
